Animal Defenders Alliance works to create lasting change for animals through education, accountability, and systemic reform.
We believe protecting animals means more than rescue; it means strengthening the systems meant to keep them safe and supporting families so pets never have to be surrendered in the first place.

ADA focuses on enforcing existing animal welfare laws, improving oversight in rescue and shelter operations, and advocating for policies that prevent cruelty before it occurs. We also work directly with communities to keep pets with their families by addressing the barriers that lead to surrender, lack of resources, access to care, and support.

Through public education, legislative advocacy, and family preservation efforts, we aim to reduce shelter intake, prevent unnecessary separations, and build a more humane, transparent, and accountable animal welfare system.
